Shweta joined the Peter Guay team in February 2009 after working in Canadian brokerages for 5 years. While at PWL, Shweta’s role has evolved from Advisor Assistant to Portfolio Manager. Her most recent accomplishment was to complete her MBA in Financial Services at Dalhousie University in 2017.
With her dedication, Shweta has become a ‘right hand’ to Peter, ensuring that clients’ portfolios are on target and their needs are met. She plans to continue her progress in the field by completing a Financial Planning designation.

Shweta’s personal interests and pursuits include a strong passion for travel and visual arts; particularly for photography. She volunteers as an Indian classical musician and sits on the board of the Kabir Centre for the Arts. She also fundraises and participates in the Run for the Cure event every year.
Recently, Shweta took on the challenge to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in support of the Hope and Cope Foundation; an accomplishment that she is particularly proud of.
